If your payees are not receiving the email invitations to register with Tipalti, you need to first verify that your domain is registered with Tipalti.
Since Tipalti sends emails on your behalf using your domain, those emails may be marked as spam by email providers if the domain is not properly registered. Ensuring your domain is registered is the first troubleshooting step to resolve email delivery issues to your payees.
In Tipalti, you'll need the Payer Administration and Edit Templates roles to verify your domain is registered with Tipalti.
Check Domain Registration
To see if your domain is registered, navigate to Administration > Communication > Domain registration.
If the green checkbox is visible , your domain is registered, and you should submit a ticket with support to investigate your email delivery issues. Please include the payee ID of any payees you know who are not receiving messages.
Register Domain
If the domain registration is not present, you will see a yellow box to add a new domain.
You need to then configure your domain by following the below instructions:
1. Go to Administration > Communication > Domain registration.
2. Click + New Domain.
3. In the "Domain name" field, enter the name of your domain and click "next"
4. Click Yes, submit.
5. Click Copy or Copy instructions and close to copy the instructions and send it to your IT team to complete the process.
Your IT team must complete the configuration in 72 hours, or else it will fail.
6. A confirmation pop-up displays confirming that the text was copied.
7. The new domain is added in a "Pending" status.
8. The configuration is validated within the next day or two after your IT team follows the instructions you sent them.

If the validation is successful, the new domain displays with a "Verified" status.

If the validation is not successful, the new domain displays with a "Failed" status.

Click Retry domain configuration.

Click Yes, retry domain configuration.
- The configuration is retried and the domain displays in a "Pending" status.

Click Retry domain configuration.

If the validation is successful, the new domain displays with a "Verified" status.
