        Payments Workflow

        Follow these steps to make payments to Brandwatch affiliates through Tipalti.

        1. Click the "Payments" and then the "New Payment" button.

        2. On the "Who do you want to pay? dialog, do the following:

          1. Toggle the "Display only payable" filter to hide any payees who have not completed Tipalti onboarding.

          2. Select the payees you wish to pay.

          3. Click the "Add Submitted" button.

        3. On the "New Payment" screen, do the following:

          1. In the "Amount to Pay" column, select the currency and enter amount you wish to pay to each payee.

          2. Click the ellipsis and choose "Assign to campaign" or "Add reference" if you need to add either to this payment.

            1. If you select "Assign to campaign", you can search from the available campaigns and assign one campaign to this payment.

            2. If you select "Add reference", you can add a note that would be sent to the providers and add to the financial statement.

            3. The reference icon or the name of the campaign appears if added.

        4. Click the "Submit Payment" button to submit payments to Tipalti. A blue loading bar appears.

        5. Once completed loading, a dialog appears showing that the payments were successfully sent to Tipalti.

        View payment status

        After payments have been submitted to Tipalti, you can view the payment status on the "Payments" screen.

        • Pending — Payment has not yet been submitted to Tipalti's banking partners for processing.

        • Submitted — Payment has been submitted for processing.

        • Failed — Payment has failed during processing

        Resubmit failed payments

        If a payment has failed:

        1. Click the "Re-submit" button to transmit the payment to Tipalti again.

        2. "Submitting payment" dialog displays. This process may take a while so wait on this page until re-submitting the payment is completed.

        3. If successful, a confirmation message displays.

        4. Click "Done".

        If a payment has had previously failed transactions, a bubble appears next to the ref code showing the number of failed transactions. Hover over the bubble to see the failed ref codes and dates submitted.

        View influencers payments

        To view payments made to a specific influencer:

        1. Click the "Influencers" button from the left hand navigation.

        2. Search for the influencer at the top and click the influencer's tile.

        3. Click the "Payment Details" to view the history of Payments.

        Influencers can view their own payment history by clicking the "Earnings" button in their portal.
