Permissions

In the Employees tab, you can assign your employees different permissions for managing contracts.

Home and the new Procurement experience is being gradually rolled out throughout 2025.
When Home displays in the left menu, you know you’re on the new Procurement experience.
Right now, you can only set up employee permissions for managing contracts in the original Procurement experience. We’re designing a new way of doing this in the new Procurement experience.

Employees page

The following table provides a description of the statuses related to managing contracts:

Permission	Description
Show contract status	View the contract statuses in the "Vendor" and "Purchases" tables.
Contracts	View "Contract" table by subsidiary.
Create new contracts	Create new contracts from "Vendor" or "Contract" pages. If a user has the create but not the view permission, they can only create the contract from the vendor page. Users can duplicate any contract that is visible to them in the table. Users don't have the ability to upload the contract document.
Upload contracts	Upload the contract document.
Delete	Only "Super Admins" can delete any contracts in the system. Requestors can delete their own contracts.
