Track and match a dropship invoice

Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment method where an online store sells products without keeping them in stock. When a customer places an order, the store purchases the item from a third-party supplier, who ships it directly to the customer.

In Tipalti, if you sell a good that’s being dropshipped, you can track if the good was shipped to the address. You can track goods by checking if there are enough item fulfillments (IFs) that match the dropship invoice. IFs are documents that confirm if the good was shipped.
