In the Reports section, you can ask Tipalti AIArtificial Intelligence to generate a report tailored to your needs with the Smart Report Builder. Tipalti AI takes your request and dives into all the information in the Tipalti Hub, selects what you need, and makes a report for you in record time. You can ask Tipalti AI to make any necessary adjustments and save it as a custom report. Return to the report anytime, and change the date range to view the latest updates. The report is available and ready to download in just one click.

  • Smart Report Builder currently supports reports for Procurement and Bills only.

  • It’s being gradually rolled out throughout 2025.

  • Contact your Customer Success Manager to activate this feature.

This is a quick, easy way to create reports that meet your business needs. It can help you carry out a high-level or deep-dive analysis, maximizing all the information Tipalti can bring to your business.

To generate a report with Smart Report Builder:

  1. On the Reports screen, click the add icon in the top left, next to CUSTOM.

    2. Reports page

  2. In the Report builder message box in the bottom left, type what report you want Tipalti AI to create for you.

  3. Click the send icon or Ctrl+Enter.

    4. Tipalti AI gets to work and starts to generate the report. It displays a preview on the right. You can download the report as a CSV to view it in full.

  4. If you need to make any adjustments, ask Tipalti AI what changes you want to add, remove or replace.

  5. Click Download full report, and if it meets your needs, click Save as custom report to access it again later.

    6. The report saves under CUSTOM for your view only. You can update and download the report as usual.

Need to make changes to your generated custom report? It’s simple to edit reports:

  1. Select one of your custom reports and click Edit in the top right.

  2. Message Tipalti AI what changes you want using the message box and click the send icon or Ctrl+Enter.

  3. You can view the updated report in the preview or Download full report.

  4. Once the changes are applied, click Save. The report will be updated and available under Custom.
