June 2024 release
General announcements
Introducing the Batch name field, which allows you to give a custom, descriptive name to payment batches. The custom name option makes it easier to find the relevant payment batch when you're looking for a specific bill, helping you work as efficiently as possible.
If a payment batch does not have a custom name, Tipalti automatically provides a default name based on the date. You can always rename it later if necessary.
We're excited to introduce the User activity report. This report increases visibility by providing a detailed breakdown of user activities in the "Payments" and "Payees" tabs in the Tipalti Hub. Automatically generated by Tipalti, this self-service audit tool is essential for compliance checks, companies preparing for IPOs (SOX reporting), and identifying security risks to ensure alignment with industry regulations.
AP teams using NetSuite 2.0 with the Tipalti Hub can decide whether to sync a bill line as billable or not. Billable lines are costs billed to your customer or partner. Syncing them to the ERP enhances financial reporting accuracy, cash flow management, and operational efficiency.
When you select a customer in the bill line "Customer" custom field, a new custom field called "Billable" appears, where you mark whether or not the line is billable. This value is then synced to NetSuite, enhancing accuracy and reducing manual work.
If you're US-based, you can now leverage local bank transfers to pay Nordic-based payees in their local currencies. This reduces payment transfer costs by using more cost-effective local Nordic payment methods, such as Bank Giro.
