        Invoice collection

        You can collect invoices by uploading them as an image or PDF in the Tipalti Hub. Payees can also upload invoices in the Supplier Hub or email them to you if you have a bill collection email set up. Once uploaded, Tipalti AI Smart ScanAI Smart Scan is a tool that reads scanned invoice images or PDFs and extracts the details, which are used to populate the fields on a bill. scans the invoice and adds the details to the invoice review screen. These invoices display in Pending review in Bills with the details collected by AIArtificial Intelligence Smart Scan already included in the review screen so you don’t need to enter them yourself. Other upload options are uploading them as a CSV, and electronically as an e-invoice.

        You can upload an image or PDF of your invoice to Bills. Then Tipalti AI scans the image or PDF and adds the details to the Bills form for you.

        You can complete any missing fields on your own.

        To upload an image or PDF:

        1. Click Bills in the left menu.

        2. Click + Add bill.

        3. Click Upload invoices.

        4. Use drag and drop or click Upload a file to upload the image or PDF of your invoice from your device.

        Depending on your account setup, payees can email across invoices or upload them to the Supplier Hub if they register an account there.

        Any invoices we receive through this email are automatically uploaded to Bills as Pending review.

        You can upload your bills as a CSV. Ask your Tipalti rep for a CSV template and then add the details of your bills to it.

        To upload it:

        1. Click Bills in the left menu.

        2. Click + Add bill.

        3. Upload the completed CSV to Upload invoice.

        4. Use drag and drop or click Upload a file to upload the CSV.

        If a payee sent an e-invoice through the PEPPOL network, Tipalti processes them in the same way as a PDF invoice, and they display in Pending review in Bills.

        If your entityAn entity can be a subsidiary, division, business unit, brand, etc. of your organization. Entities can have similar or different AP processes and workflows. is in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, or BeNeLux, you can use e-invoicing in Tipalti with the PEPPOL network. Tipalti plans to support more countries in the future.
