The following are possible reasons why your payment is stuck in this status:
- Payment is under compliance review. Check your email for a notification from our Compliance Team.
- Payment was submitted after the cutoff time. Payments submitted before the cutoff time are processed within Tipalti on the same day. Then the payment gets sent to the payment provider who may take additional time to send the payment out to the payee.
- Payee is under compliance review and they have not submitted the required documents to Tipalti yet.

You can view the following payment submission cutoff times in the Tipalti Hub.
- Payment instructions delivered to Tipalti by 18:30 UTC on a banking business day are executed that same day.
- Payment instructions delivered to Tipalti after 18:30 UTC on a banking business day will be executed on the next banking business day.
- Banking business days are typically Monday through Friday, but banking holidays in the US and UK may affect the value date assigned by the bank.
- Payments are not processed during the weekend.
